Pool and hot tub was great.Front Desk Manager was very friendly.Room was clean and very roomy. My wife and I had to find a place that was pretty close to her mother’s home in Ames, and, in our opinion, there’s only a few good places, mostly located on the south-east side of town.
The Comfort Inn, in Ames, Iowa, was just the right fit! A nice comfortable bed, and a good sized television (with a nice range of cable service, especially our favorite choice, HGTV !) that we would easily view while reclining by the headboard in bed! Even though it is within a couple hundred feet of US Highway 30, I didn’t hear a thing during the night!
The desk staff was friendly, the spread near the reception counter (for the free continental breakfast) looked tasty, even though I never had the time to partake in it. And the indoor heated pool looked inviting, and we had our swimming clothes for it, but alas, no time!
